Note: Animal Welfare Professional, Industry Partner and Student members enjoy discounted conference registration rates. For animal welfare professionals who do not currently have a paid membership with The Association, we offer you a bundle, which includes conference registration and one year of membership with The Association.

Which Registration is Right for You?

  • Animal Welfare Professional: Individuals who have a paid membership ($250/yr). Animal welfare professional members enjoy a $200 discount on conference registration.
  • Learning Non-Member Bundle: Individuals who currently have a Learning Non-Member (free) account or those animal welfare professionals who don't have any account with us.  This registration type is not for individuals who work for a company that sells goods or services to the field; those individuals should register as Industry Partner members or non-members (see below for more information).
    • Already have a Learning Non-Member (free) account with us? Login and you'll automatically be assigned the conference registration bundle that includes the membership upgrade. We will upgrade your membership for you, effective November 1st, 2024.
    • Don't have a (free) Learning Non-Member account with us yet? First, register for that free account, then process your conference registration.
  • Industry Partner - Member: Individuals who work in the for-profit sector at companies that provide goods or services and already have a paid (or comped, due to sponsorship) Industry Partner membership ($350/yr). Industry Partner  members enjoy a $200 discount on conference registration.
    • If you are a sponsor of The Association, you may have complimentary conference registrations.  If you have not received your registration promo codes, please contact marketing@theaawa.org.
  • Industry Partner - Non-Member: Individuals who work in the for-profit sector at companies that provide goods or services who do not have a paid Industry Partner membership account with us.
    • Already have a Industry Partner Non-Member (free) account with us? Login and you'll automatically be assigned the correct conference registration rate.
    • Don't have a (free) Industry Partner Non-Member account with us yet? First, register for that free account, then process your conference registration.
  • Student Member: Individuals who have a Student membership ($15/yr). Our student members enjoy a $300 discount on their conference registration.
    • Student Memberships require proof of school enrollment.
    • Don't have a  Student Member account with us yet? First, register for that account type, and after it's been approved process your conference registration.

Refund Policies

  • Full refund if requested on or before September 30, 2024
  • $50 processing fee if refund is requested before October 31, 2024
  • $100 processing fee after November 1, 2024
  • Refund requests must be sent to meetings@theaawa.org
