Keynote: Igniting Passion and Purpose in Your Teams
November 19, 2024
3:45 pm - 4:45 pm | Grand Ballroom
Leaders who actively cultivate an understanding of and responsiveness to their team’s emotional landscape are better equipped to motivate their team, leading to heightened engagement and more effective advocacy for the causes they champion. This approach not only improves team dynamics but drives superior results in mission-critical projects.
Dr. Christi Monk will offer practical strategies to create a culture of well-being and purpose. The goal is to ignite passion and engagement, empowering teams to achieve exceptional results for the animals they champion. Participants will:
- Learn to identify their own emotions and those of their team members, understanding how these emotions can influence behavior and decision-making within the team.
- Gain skills in responding effectively to the emotional needs of the team, using empathy and active listening to foster a supportive and inclusive work environment.
- Develop strategies to enhance team alignment with the organization’s goals, particularly around championing animal welfare, thereby increasing engagement and commitment.
