The Space Between: Rethinking the Leadership Leap

November 3, 2025

9:50 am - 10:20 am | The Peachtree Ballroom

What happens in the space between emerging and established leadership? That’s where transformation begins. In this opening keynote, Lily Yap draws on her experience as both a mentee and a mentor to explore how we cultivate a future that values experience without clinging to it, honoring the intersection of legacy and innovation.

Together, we’ll explore what it means to create space for the next generation while honoring the wisdom of those who paved the way. This session invites both veteran and next-gen leaders to reimagine shared leadership, meaningful mentorship, and sustainable succession in animal welfare today.
