Economic forces are constantly reshaping every aspect of animal welfare, from the decisions families make about pet ownership and veterinary care to the policies that influence access to services, the technologies changing how organizations operate, and the financial realities affecting shelters, clinics, and communities across the country. In this thought-provoking general session, Dr. James Lloyd will explore the current economic trends influencing the future of animal welfare and challenge leaders to think systemically rather than react to individual pressures in isolation.
