TyAnn Sumpter is the Executive Director of SPCA of Brazoria County and an animal welfare leader focused on building systems that support people, animals, and the communities they serve. With experience in shelter operations, community cat programming, municipal partnerships, and statewide shelter support, she is passionate about removing barriers and creating practical, community-responsive approaches to lifesaving. TyAnn believes that effective sheltering starts with listening to the community, understanding its needs, and building programs and policies that meet people where they are.
